Abubakar is currently an undergraduate at Dartmouth College, where he is planning to major in computer science and minor in Biology. He joined the Sustainable Health Lab his junior year, during the summer of 2020. He is developing a program to extract Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare claims data using the Blue Button 2.0 API and organized the data into an internal database. This program is intended to lay the groundwork for data and a web application to allow patients to access their Medicare claims data and use it to enhance clinical decision-making during a healthcare visit.
